Wardrobes and Bookcases
Bookcases are usually completely bespoke, whereas I can either make a bedrom entirely bespoke or use off the shelf carcasses and modify if required, adding handmade doors and then fitting with the addition of plinths, cornices and filing into the walls to give a high quality finish.
Shaker wardrobe under sloping ceiling
A simple set of shaker doors constructed from solid Tulipwood frames and mdf centre panels. Images show the process from clamping up the door frames, fitting them into their carcass/frame to get the fit correct and then painting the doors.
Bespoke Shaker Cabinets with Drawers
Hand painted Tulipwood frames and solid oak, dovetail jointed drawer boxes mounted on high quality full extension runners. Solid oak cabinet top above chests of drawers.
Scribed to ceilings and wall to ensure a perfect finish
Contemporary Wardrobes
Constructed from standard carcasses, which were modified in depth to clear doorway and open shelves created on the right hand side where the wall is angled at about 45 degrees. Everything is constructed on a plinth and finished with a cornice in matching colour

Wall Panelling
A recently renovated Georgian town house needed a little character reinstating so my client asked if I would create wall panelling for the hall, stairs and landings based on an image taken from the internet. The first stage resulted in many lines being drawn on the walls to establish the panel and shapes. The dimensions were carefully noted and all 44 panels were shaped in my workshop before fixing to the walls and painting.
Under Stairs Cabinets
I've found the way to make these accurately is to firstly make the framework on site, then take it back to my workshop and make the doors to fit, before returning to complete the installation. The client wanted to finish the painting for this job, so the doors are only finished in primer for this image.
