About
I've always made, designed and worked with wood. After spending 20 years as an industrial designer in industry, often working for furniture related businesses I decided to follow my passion and become self employed.
I became an approved kitchen installer for a major UK furniture supplier - a role which I balance with making bespoke furniture - fitted or freestanding and other projects, large or small which often require an empathy to the design or building in which it is installed. I work in most materials from painted MDF to high quality hardwoods such as Oak and Walnut.
I enjoy the broader aspects of a project, often tiling kitchens, managing the electrical, gas and other works where required.
I have a well equipped workshop where most work is prepared prior to installation, minimising disruption on site.
I have also restored several classic cars which bring a host of other skills which enables me to undertake more unusual projects.
